EXODUS 3:2

 

“And the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush: and he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed.”

 

Fire is both Life and Death. Without fire, its heat and its light, the Human species would not have survived. But Fire also destroys : homes, lives, but mostly trees. Soil needs to be destroyed before growing back to life. 

 

This project is part of a bigger production about the fourth elements. Its aim, by showing ghostly shadows of burned out trees is to show how we , as conscious people, organize the land to become a forest again, forgetting about how both magic and dangerous Fire is.
